The official leisure activities, which should allegedly keep the prisoners busy or possibly educate them, do not exist or exist in an absurd form. Access to some work is often a reward. Prisoners want to receive compliments, but there is nothing for which you can get them. It raises questions about why these situations happen, and the prisoners’ time is not better filled. Since you cannot do almost anything in prison, the interest of the prisoners often turns to bad influence. What effect does their prison stay have on their successful reintegration into society?

The collection of objects shows both things for men and women, such as the substitution of perfume, face scrubs, hair curlers…

This project was developed under the supervision of imprisoned men and women with whom I have been in contact throughout the project. Also, I keep discovering new exhibits and so continue expanding the exhibition.
